1. Create your account
Sign up for a free Sparknautic account at sparknautic.io/signup. No credit card required. Your free plan includes:
- 1 marketplace channel
- 25 products
- 50 orders per month
- 14-day free trial of all features
After signing up, you'll see your dashboard with an onboarding checklist to guide you through the setup process step by step.
2. Connect your first channel
Navigate to Channels in the sidebar and click Connect Channel. Sparknautic supports four marketplaces:
- eBay — Connect via OAuth. Authorize Sparknautic to access your seller account for inventory, listings, orders, and fulfillment.
- Etsy — Connect via OAuth with PKCE. Grant access to your Etsy shop to sync listings and orders.
- Amazon — Connect via Login with Amazon (LWA). Link your Amazon Seller Central account for SP-API access.
- Shopify — Enter your shop domain and authorize via OAuth to sync products, orders, and inventory.
Each connection takes under 2 minutes. You'll be redirected to the marketplace to authorize, then back to Sparknautic once connected.
3. Add products
Go to Products and click Add Product. Fill in your product details:
- Title, description, and brand — Used as the base for all marketplace listings
- SKU — A unique identifier for your product (required)
- Price and cost — Track margins across channels
- Images — Upload product photos (used across all channels)
- Variants — Add size, color, or other options with per-variant SKUs and stock levels
Bulk import: Already have a product catalog? Use the Import CSV button to upload products in bulk. Expected columns: sku, title, description, brand, price, cost, condition, status, stock_quantity, weight, barcode, category, tags.
4. Publish listings
Once you have products and connected channels, go to Listings and click Create Listing.
- Select a product from your catalog
- Choose a connected channel (eBay, Etsy, Amazon, or Shopify)
- Optionally override the title, description, and price for that specific marketplace
- Map to the correct marketplace category
- Click Publish to push the listing live
Sparknautic handles the API mapping for each platform — your product data is automatically transformed to the correct format for eBay inventory items, Etsy listings, Amazon SP-API submissions, or Shopify products.
For multi-variant products, all variants are published together with their respective options, prices, and stock levels.
5. Manage orders
Orders import automatically every 5 minutes from all connected channels. View them under Orders in the sidebar.
Each order shows:
- Order number and source channel
- Customer name and shipping details
- Line items with SKUs
- Order total and status
From the order detail page, you can mark orders as fulfilled with tracking information, which syncs back to the original marketplace.
6. Inventory sync
This is the core of Sparknautic. Once set up, inventory syncs automatically every 15 minutes across all your channels.
How it works:
- A sale on eBay decreases stock on eBay
- Sparknautic detects the change during the next sync
- Stock is updated locally and pushed to Etsy, Amazon, and Shopify
- All channels reflect the correct available quantity
You can also manually trigger a sync from the Channels page, and set low stock alerts under Settings to get notified when products run low.
Frequently asked questions
How often does inventory sync?
Every 15 minutes automatically. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from the channel detail page.
Can I set different prices per channel?
Yes. When creating a listing, you can override the price for each marketplace. Your product's base price is used as the default, but each listing can have its own price to account for different fees and margins.
What happens if a channel API goes down?
Sparknautic uses automatic retry with exponential backoff. If a marketplace API is temporarily unavailable, syncs will retry automatically. Failed operations are logged and you'll be notified of any persistent errors.
Can I import my existing products from a marketplace?
You can import products via CSV upload. Pull a product export from your marketplace, format it to match our CSV template, and upload it from the Products page.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Billing & Plans in the sidebar. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Plan changes take effect immediately — no pro-rating hassles.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored securely and never shared. We use Stripe for all payment processing — we never store credit card numbers.
Do you support multi-variant products?
Yes. Products can have unlimited variants with different SKUs, prices, stock levels, and option values (size, color, etc.). Multi-variant listings are fully supported on all four marketplaces.
Can I connect the same marketplace account to multiple Sparknautic accounts?
Each marketplace seller account should only be connected to one Sparknautic account to prevent inventory conflicts.
